Tour Details

Experience an inspiring journey to Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village (ASYV), a unique educational and empowerment center for vulnerable youth in Rwanda. This tour provides an opportunity to learn about the village’s history, its impact, and its holistic approach to youth development.

Itinerary

Day 1Pickup from Kigali and drive to Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwamagana

Morning:

8:00 AM – Pickup from Kigali and drive to Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village in Rwamagana (about 1.5 hours).

9:30 AM – Arrival & Welcome Briefing: Introduction to the village, its mission, and its programs.

10:00 AM – Campus Tour: Visit key facilities, including classrooms, dormitories, and the solar energy project.

11:00 AM – Meet with Students & Staff: Engage with students and hear their inspiring stories.

Lunch:

12:30 PM – Lunch at the Village Cafeteria or Nearby Restaurant

Afternoon:

2:00 PM – Participate in a Youth Workshop: Join an educational or artistic activity with students.

3:30 PM – Reflection & Q&A Session: Discuss the impact of ASYV and opportunities for future engagement.

Evening:

4:00 PM – Depart for Kigali
